The prescription that is never at the first pharmacy

People with ADHD are asked to do the exact executive-function task their medication is supposed to make easier: call pharmacy after pharmacy until someone has the prescription. The public thread in r/ADHD drew 637 upvotes and 71 comments between mid-September and mid-October 2026.

The idea is a prescription stock finder. The free page has the source, the gap left by price tools that do not track stock, and a Hotness of 4.15. The agent prompt, the part you would paste into a coding agent, is the paid slice.

We are not quoting the thread as if we sat in it. The title excerpt and the link are the evidence. A product in this space also has to be honest about controlled medication: a first version can record what people just found on the shelf, and it should not pretend to be a pharmacy.

If you would rather run it as a local service before writing software, the sister page is not linked from the blog. It is linked once, from the idea itself.
